Dec 21, 2006 · I would say, change the columns to 8x6 or 8x8 posts. An 8x8 will have more bearing capacity than a 4x6 or 6x6. I won''t go into column spacings as there is not enough details to outline the column information. The columns should fully support all load bearing plys of the beam.
